Events and Gatherings

Journey of Eight specializes in event marketing, awareness campaigning, friend and fundraising, conferences and educational projects. The events we design and coordinate are typically part of a Development Initiative. We focus on small-medium business, educational associations, service industry, hospitality, specialty retail and non-profit clients. JOE designs events that are meaningful and beneficial to all who participate. Some examples of our past and current events;

JOE works with all scales of special events and gatherings. Our team has designed and coordinated events as part of a complete development campaign and also as a one time private party. We work with all ranges of budgets.

“Independent fundraisers and third-party event organizers are extremely valuable to the nonprofit organizations they support in terms of time, treasure, and talent. Traditional event organizers need to view independent fundraising as supplementary, not competitive, to their existing development portfolio. Providing resources and tools to these independent supporters is critical to ensuring fundraising success and maintaining an overall low cost per dollar raised. Nonprofit organizations need to engage with these fundraisers in many of the same ways they would major donors or high-level volunteers. These types of supporters have a deep connection with your cause and can be very effective at raising money and awareness for your organization.” Blackbaud

“Third Party Events, IFE’s…no matter what you call them they are HOT! IFE programs are a valid strategy for organizations looking to expand their current offerings or for those who are looking to diversify revenue streams. Fundraising in general is becoming more social and for some the traditional events just don’t make sense. Data shows that IFE participants are highly motivated – creating a solid strategy, infrastructure and promotion plan could pay off big!” Charity Dynamics
